John was born about 1700 in Isle of Wight Co. Virginia. He died in 1778 and family records state West Florida. Then this would have been Spanish West Florida. His wife's name is not known, and only one son, John.
1. John Lott born 1715-1720 in Edgecombe Co. NC. and died before 1810 in either GA. or MS. He married (1) Elizabeth Joyner about 1740 and married (2) after 1750 to Bethaney.
Elizabeth born 1724 in Isle of Wight Co. VA., Was the daughter of John Joyner and wife Elizabeth Brown.
John and Elizabeth had at least fourteen (14) children.

5. Joshua Lott, born about 1744.
6. Daniel Lott, born about 1744 in Edgecombe Co. NC. and died about 1784.
7. Mark Lott, born 1746-1748 in Edgecombe Co. NC. and died before 1838.
8. Absalom Lott, born 1746-1763 in Edgecombe Co. NC. and died about 1836. He married (1) Martha Dorcy Lightfoot and (2)Rebecca Dechueux.
9. Arthur Lott, born 1746-1763 in Edgecomb Co. NC. and died May 23, 1812 in Macon Co. GA. He married Sarah Ann Clapp.
10. Jesse Lott, born 1746-1763 and died 30 October, 1779. He married Sarah Frederick.
11. Mary Lott, born 1746-1763.
12. Nathan Lott, born 1746-1763 and died before 1835.
13. William Lott, born 1746-1763 in Edgecomb Co. NC. and died 1823 in MS. He married Rebecca Harris 22 March, 1819 in Marion Co. MS.
14. Sarah Lott, born after 1764 in Barnwell Co. SC. She married John Cain.
