Abner Stone was born 15 April, 1791 in South Carolina and died in Alabama. He was the son of Jesse Stone and Susannah Lightfoot.
Abner married Abigail who was born 1788 in SC. Abigail may have been a Jordan and older sister to Levi Jordan born 1793. Both Abner and Abagail died near Selma, AL. in Dallas Co., between 1860 and 1870.
Abner was a farmer and had a large farm. After the death of Abner a son, Levi continued to live on the land and operate the farm.
Abner and Abigail had several children, only three names are known.

C. William Stone born 1857 AL.

B. Rebecca Stone born 12 August, 1856 AL. married 11 May, 1884 Dallas Co. to William Lamb Skinner, born 24 June, 1833 and died 10 October, 1912 in Selma. Son of Ira and Permelia Lamb Skinner.
D. Andrew Stone born 1859 AL.
E. Riley Stone born 1861 AL.
F. Livie Stone born 1866 AL.
G. Malisha Stone born 1868 AL.
