Merrill Jones, son of Hannon Jones. He was born 1821 MS. and died 1883 in Jackson co. MS. He married Catherine Graham, daughter of William Graham and Elizabeth Cumbest Graham. She was born 9 August, 1824 MS., and died 1 December, 1898. Both are buried in Johnson Cemetery in Wade, MS.
The children of Merrill and Catherine are taken from a family Bible and from a land deed, listing the heirs of Catherine Jones.

8. Rebecca Maria Jones 20 February, 1860 died 26 August, 1930 MS., m. Lewis M. Oliver
9. Azaline Jones married a Goff
10. Fannie Jones died before 1906 when estate was settled. She married Van Roberts.
11. Samuel W. Jones born 1866-1948 married Florence Coleman. It is the grandson of Sam Jones who keeps the Graham-Jones family Bible. At the time I copied all birth and death dates from the Bible it was in the possession of Hardy Salisbury.
