Richard Couch was born in England, it is not known when he came to America. He lived and married in Kentucky. He had two known sons by his first wife in KY.

Richard Couch had at least one son from the second marriage to Fannie Devine.

3. Clarence Leland Couch who was born 25 December, 1877 KY., and died 5 September, 1946. He married Minerva Kathleen Cunningham, born 26 June, 1883 Jackson Co. MS. and died 5 April 1954, daughter of John Cunningham and second wife, Effie Thomson daughter of John Thomson and Susan Howe.
